I saw this quote (above) on someone's FB status and thought I'd share. Forgot how it exactly goes but it's something like that.
2012 has begun here in Australia and it's such a beautiful day! Can't see any clouds and the sky is such a pretty blue! Let's begin with a review of a product I love using!
Cost (Aus): $19.95 (in store)
Packaging: This mascara comes with an applicator on both ends. One for the primer and the other for the mascara. If you're a first time user of this kind of two-step mascara, the brushes are attached to the middle section. The bristles on the primer wand is a lot longer and more spaced out than the mascara, which I find helps spread the lashes apart, prepping it for an easier application of the mascara.
Staying Power: Stays on all day. Never had any problems with it wearing off. You probably already know this, (I actually sometimes forget so I feel the need to say it), make sure you wait for the mascara to dry! Because I don't curl my lashes (I need to find a curler that works, if you know any please let me know), I blink and sometimes they actually reach the skin below my eyes and it leaves some mascara there.
Conclusion: If you have looked at my make up styles you would probably know by now that I LOVE using this mascara. It really does thicken my lashes (pictured below) and makes them longer. I also really like the primer because it allows me to put on other colours, (using eye shadows). Like what I did here. I'm not sure how strong that staying power of using eye shadows for your lashes would be though.
Edit:
Sorry! I forgot to show how it looks! Great start to 2012 huh? :P I tried my best to take pictures using the same angle and such. Sometimes, when I want to make my lashes really thick, I apply the primer on top of the first application of mascara once it's dried and then apply the mascara again. If that feels too weird for you, you can apply a second application of primer (before the mascara) but you have to make sure the primer is dried first. I find though, that doing this is not as effective as the way I do it.
